Riobamba is a state capital of Chimborazo. Not much going on here and the place doesn’t have the same charm as Quito or Guayaquil.
What it does have is an amazing hacienda outside of town called Hosteria de Anduluza. It is very large and full of eclectic mix of things.
The hacienda also has sheep, llamas, rabbits and peacocks and a great view of the Chimborazo Volcano.
Chimborazo also has the largest concentration of Indigenous people who worship the Chimborazo volcano.
